We enjoyed everything in this amazing castle, especially the quietness, the big room, the modern bahtroom, the absolutely delicious breakfast and the wonderful view from the breakfast room. It is a perfect stop for one night between Madrid and Extremadura.

During my stay, I was captivated by the strategic hilltop location that provided great views of the surrounding countryside. The room featured a unique stone vaulted ceiling. While the facilities were somewhat limited since it was winter, I could imagine how much livelier it could be later in the year. The surrounding attractions were just a short walk away, such as the charming Antigua Capilla San Bernardo and the Antiguo Ayuntamiento de Oropesa.

We felt like a 16th century Spanish noble family in their castle. Parador de Oropesa is the quintessential Spanish parador and we would highly recommend a stay here. Lots of character and atmosphere.

Couples looking for a historic vibe
Staying here was like stepping into a different time, our room was large, comfy, and the view was amazing. Had dinner on the terrace and wow, the food paired with that view made for a nice evening.
It wasn't the cheapest place I've been to, but still well worth it.

This is a fantastic hotel lovely views, everything is good really It has a lovely courtyard with terrace where you can have a drink, one of the best Paradors I have atayed at..Worth visiting!!!!
It is hard to find, my sat nav couldnt find it and the coordinates seem to be slightly wrong????????????It is also not where it says on the Booked.net map I think!!!! And there seem to be no signs. If you head upwards to the castle thats your best bet but the streets are very narrow.

power of shower water is great!!! and the secret gift on the bed is testful. and the castle guard staff is friendly.
There is no toliet in public area. The staff of reception cannot communicate by english well. the bed is hard. and the resturent seems ... no english manu or they only service nobel, every thing of the hotel is officer's working attitdue. We therefore changed the lunch to another resturnent near by Oropesa - Valdepalacios Hotel Gourmand, we (2 people) spent 200 euros for lunch and paid 40 euros for tips, Why? It worth defintely! its hotel condition and service even better 1000 times than Parador Oropesa.

The location of the hotel offers captivating views.
The air conditioning in our room was not operational, leading to a very uncomfortable night in the heat. Despite informing the staff, the issue remained unresolved, although they offered to move us to another room late at night. This left us feeling quite frustrated, as we had already unpacked our luggage and felt it was too late to rearrange.
